Carter Ferguson

Hello, my name is Carter Ferguson, and I'm a 7th grade science teacher and boy's athletics coach here at Canyon Middle. Originally from Tomball, Texas, I come from a family deeply rooted in education. Both of my parents are teachers, and their passion for learning has inspired me throughout my life.

In our 7th grade science class, we'll embark on an exciting journey exploring organisms and enviornments. Throughout the year, we'll dive into topics including cells, living systems, genetics, ecosystems, energy flow, scientific investigation, and plenty more.

My mission as your teacher is to be your guide as you explore the wonders of science. I'm here to help you develop curiosity, critical thinking skills, and the confidence you need to succeed; not just in my classroom, but in whatever peaks your interest throughout your life. Together, we'll ask questions, conduct investigations, and discover the amazing world around us.
