Callie Smith

Welcome to middle school Interdisciplinary Studies. My name is Callie Smith and I am so excited for this school year! When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me spending time with my friends and family or out on an adventure. I love to spend time outside kayaking, swimming, hiking, and loving nature. We have a class pet snake named Kernel Scooby Snakesters who hangs out with us in the classroom during the school year.

 

I have taught for 6 years in middle school. As a GT teacher, I'm passionate about inspiring curiosity and challenging students to think outside the box. This year we are going to be diving deep into projects spanning all subjects and focusing on encouraging students to pursue their own interests and passions to create a product they are proud of.
