Coach Preston Davis Homepage

    Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year. My name is Coach Preston Davis and I am looking forward to a wonderful year at Canyon Middle School. This will be my 19th year teaching at CMS. 

    I am a graduate of Southwest Texas State University (Texas State) where I majored in Exercise Sports Science and minored in Mathematics.  While I was at SWT, I was blessed to be able to be a four year letterman playing football for the Bobcats. I was also able to find the love of my life and been happily married to for 23 years. 

Things you can control when coming to class:

Attitude - Effort - Focus

Attitude - The particular way a person thinks or feels about something or someone

Effort - Conscious exertion of power : hard work

Focus - A center of activity, attraction, or attention

In the 38 year of being involved in academics and sports, success is more likely when we stay STRONGER TOGETHER!
